Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 21/08/2026 • Scope: All Bespoke Commissions
At Gourmet Guild, we accept an exclusive, strictly limited number of private banquet and celebratory commissions per calendar month. When a date is reserved for your occasion, our atelier immediately ceases taking competing enquiries, schedules dedicated brigade personnel, and reserves micro-seasonal agricultural produce.
We understand that unforeseen life events may require date revisions or cancellations. The terms below outline the financial and procedural structure governing cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling.
1. Cancellation Windows & Refund Matrix
Cancellation notices must be submitted in writing to Hello@GGuild.in. The applicable refund is calculated strictly based on the date your written notice is received by our concierge:
| Notice Period Prior to Event | Refund on Advance Paid | Atelier Retained Portion |
|---|---|---|
| 30 or more calendar days prior | 70% Refund | 30% retained (administrative & calendar reservation fee) |
| 15 to 29 calendar days prior | 40% Refund | 60% retained (committed supplier logistics & brigade lock-in) |
| Fewer than 14 calendar days prior | 0% (Non-Refundable) | 100% retained (perishable ingredients purchased & kitchen prepared) |
2. Event Rescheduling Guidelines
- Early Rescheduling (21+ days prior): Clients may request a date transfer up to 6 months from the original date without any forfeiture penalty, subject to calendar availability on our master schedule.
- Late Rescheduling (within 21 days): Requests to move dates within 21 days of the event incur a 15% rebooking charge to cover supplier cancellations and fresh perishable ingredient replacements.
- A commission may be rescheduled a maximum of one (1) time under this provision.
3. Refund Disbursement Timeline & Mode
- All approved refunds are initiated within 5 to 7 business days following formal written mutual cancellation confirmation.
- Refunds are processed back via the original payment channel (Bank Transfer / NEFT / RTGS / Original Payment Gateway).
- Any third-party payment gateway transaction fees or banking levies charged during initial payment are non-refundable.
4. Force Majeure & Government Directives
In the event that an event cannot take place due to an Act of God, catastrophic natural disaster, riot, or state-issued ban/curfew, Gourmet Guild will issue a full credit note equivalent to 100% of all unspent procurement balances, valid for any future commission within twelve (12) calendar months.
